Job Description Estimator - Construction South Gyle, Edinburgh | £30,000+ Basic + Holidays, Pension & Benefits \n A well-established, growing contractor based in South Gyle is looking to add an Estimator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some estimating or construction industry experience who is looking to develop their career with a supportive, close-knit business. \n This is a predominantly office-based role, so you'll be working from the South Gyle office day to day, with occasional travel required, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential. \n The Role \n \n Preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, from initial enquiry through to tender submission \n Working closely with the CAD team to interpret drawings and specifications \n Sourcing pricing from suppliers and subcontractors \n Supporting the wider commercial team with measurement and take-offs \n Building strong working relationships internally and with clients \n \n What We're Looking For \n \n Some experience in an estimating, quantity surveying, or similar construction role is ideal, though this is a junior-level position and full training will be provided \n Comfortable working with CAD packages, or willing to learn \n Full UK driving licence and access to a car \n Strong numeracy and attention to detail \n A proactive, organised approach and good communication skills \n \n What's on Offer \n \n £30,000+ basic salary, depending on experience \n Holiday entitlement \n Pension scheme \n Genuine progression opportunities within a growing business \n \n If you're looking to build a career in construction estimating with a business that will invest in your development, we'd love to hear from you. \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
