Finance Assistant | Greater Belfast | Temporary At a Glance Finance Assistant with strong, hands-on QuickBooks experience this is the key requirement Hybrid, open to part time or reduced hours, on-site in Greater Belfast Competitive salary, dependent on skills and experience Genuine variety and career progression across a growing retail, property and leisure business About the Company Our client is a well-established and fast-growing company with a diverse group structure. It's a dynamic, commercially driven organisation offering real variety and exposure across multiple business entities. The Role Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll play a hands-on role across transactional finance, month-end processes and commercial reporting. Previous experience using QuickBooks is essential for this role, and we're particularly interested in candidates who are confident using the system day to day within a busy finance environment. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, can work independently and wants to build their experience within a growing group. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts across multiple entities Support purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll processes Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank accounts on a regular basis Assist with VAT returns, Intrastat and fixed asset management Support month-end journals, accruals and prepayments Assist with credit control and customer account reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies What You'll Need Proven hands-on experience using QuickBooks this is the key requirement for the role Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy finance or accounts environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressured, fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach Why Apply?
