About the Client
Our Client is an established building services and maintenance provider delivering electrical installation, planned maintenance, compliance testing, repairs and small works across public sector, housing, commercial and retail environments.
They are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Contracts Manager to join their existing team and take ownership of key maintenance and small works activities.
Roles/Responsibilities
Manage electrical maintenance contracts, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget.
Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and ensure scheduled works are completed effectively.
Manage small works from initial instruction through to completion, including programming, resourcing and client communication.
Coordinate engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and supply-chain partners.
Monitor contract performance, KPIs, SLAs and customer satisfaction.
Ensure all electrical works meet relevant legislation, standards and contractual requirements.
Review quotations, variations, costs and commercial performance.
Maintain accurate contract records, reports, programmes and compliance documentation.
Build strong working relationships with clients and respond proactively to operational issues.
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency and profitability.
Support the wider team with contract mobilisation, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications
Proven experience managing electrical maintenance contracts within a facilities management, building services or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of PPM and reactive electrical maintenance.
Experience managing small works projects and associated commercial processes.
Electrical industry background with a good understanding of relevant compliance requirements.
Strong organisational, communication and client-management skills.
Commercially aware with the ability to monitor costs, variations and contract performance.
Experience managing engineers, subcontractors and supply chains.
Able to work independently while also contributing effectively to a wider contract management team.
Relevant electrical qualifications would be highly advantageous.Benefits
