Site Agent

Site Agent We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a project team delivering a live highways scheme in Nottingham. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards. you will currently be Site Agent with a strong background in highways construction and proven experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and client interfaces. Key Responsibilities • Take full ownership of site delivery for highways works, from planning through to completion • Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant, and materials • Ensure all works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and specification • Lead and enforce health & safety on site, including RAMS, briefings, inspections, and compliance • Maintain site records including site diaries, progress reports, and quality documentation • Liaise with the client, designers, and internal management to ensure effective communication • Support commercial and planning teams with progress updates and look-ahead planning Required Experience & Qualifications • Proven experience working as a Site Agent on highways projects • Strong understanding of highways construction methods and standards • Valid CSCS Card • SMSTS • Solid health & safety leadership and compliance experience • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site activities concurrently • HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Excellent prospects coupled with a generous salary and package (dependant on experience)
