Cleaning Operative

Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join our FM segment and to be based out Adanac Park in Southampton. Working 20 Hours per week. Monday - Friday - Hours to be confirmed. Pay: £12.71 per Hour. Among many support services our enhanced family friendly package includes: Men’s and Women’s health, fertility support, maternity, paternity and shared parental leave, fostering leave, menopause support, carer leave, surrogacy and adoption support. Making Possible • Cleaning in accord with the specification for the premises. • Clean floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate. • Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas. • Collecting and appropriate disposing of waste. • Clean and maintain waste bins. • Refill and replace consumables. • Report faulty equipment & other maintenance requirements to appropriate person. • Lock rooms after cleaning. • Ensure lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate. • Promote and ensure the health and safety of staff & visitors at all times. • Ensure compliance by self and others with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures.
