Social Worker - Adults & Children's Services

RT Social Care are seeking experienced and qualified Social Workers for a range of opportunities within Adult and Children’s Social Care across Essex.

We work with local authorities to support recruitment across a variety of teams, offering opportunities for social workers looking for their next challenge in temporary and ongoing positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload appropriate to the relevant team and service area.
• Complete assessments, care plans, reviews and reports in line with statutory requirements.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, families and vulnerable adults.
• Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers and multi-agency professionals.
• Develop person-centred support plans that promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
• Attend case conferences, reviews, court hearings and multi-disciplinary meetings where required.
• Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and manage risk effectively.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legislation and local authority procedures.
• Work in partnership with health, education and other relevant services to ensure coordinated support.
• Manage competing priorities and work effectively within a busy social care environment.
