Our client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is seeking a Senior or Principal InfoWorks ICM Modeller for a contract opportunity. The role will support urban drainage and wastewater modelling projects, with a focus on hydraulic model development, calibration, verification, combined sewer overflow analysis and the development of effective water infrastructure solutions.Key Responsibilities:Building, calibrating and verifying hydraulic models using InfoWorks ICMUndertaking urban drainage and wastewater modelling across water sector projectsAnalysing combined sewer overflows and storm overflows, including spill frequency and durationSupporting optioneering, spill-reduction studies and the development of sustainable solutionsPreparing technical assessments, reports and recommendations for clients and project teamsReviewing and auditing models and technical outputs at Principal levelProviding technical guidance and undertaking technical checking to ensure high-quality deliveryCoordinating and leading teams of hydraulic modellers where requiredJob Requirements:Significant experience in urban drainage and wastewater modelling within the water sectorStrong hands-on proficiency in InfoWorks ICM, including model build, calibration and verificationExperience analysing combined sewer overflows, storm overflows and spill performanceUnderstanding of optioneering and the development of solutions to reduce spill frequency and durationStrong technical reporting, analytical and problem-solving skillsFor the Principal-level role, extensive experience in model audit, technical review and quality assuranceAbility to communicate confidently with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary project teamsExperience providing technical leadership and coordinating modelling teams at Principal levelContract Opportunity:This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to challenging water and wastewater infrastructure projects, working alongside experienced engineering and modelling professionals.
