Bioanalyst

The RoleWe’re looking for a Bioanalyst to join our supportive and collaborative Bioanalytical Services team at our Alnwick site. This is a fully onsite position.Reporting directly to one of the Bioanalytical Study Directors, you will organise, validate, implement, and perform bioanalysis in accordance with regulatory and company procedures, supporting high‑quality delivery across a range of studies.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse samples from preclinical and clinical studies using ICP‑MS and LC‑MSPerform ICP-MS and LC-MS bioanalytical assay validationsImplement methodologies new to the team to support investigative studiesEnsure work is completed in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies / procedures, and client requirements where appropriate, reviewing and updating supporting documentation as appropriate.Skills and Experience RequiredEssential:BSc (Hons) in a relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent laboratory experienceAbility to critically assess and interpret scientific dataStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf‑motivated and adaptable, with a positive approach to new tasks and challengesHigh level of personal integrity and attention to qualityDesirable:Previous experience working with mass spectrometry (ICP‑MS or LC‑MS)Experience within a pharmaceutical, CRO, or regulated laboratory environmentEligibility to Work in the UKPlease note that this position is not eligible for sponsorship under the UK points-based immigration system.
