About the role

Following a recent successful placement within their Family department, I'm now looking to speak with an experienced Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary who has supported Child Care / Public Law matters and is looking for a role where they can become a valued member of a busy and supportive team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, building strong relationships with clients, and working closely with experienced fee earners on important and often sensitive matters. About You You'll be someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys supporting others, and understands the importance of providing excellent service to clients. Ideally, you'll have: Previous experience supporting within Family Law, particularly Child Care / Public Law Experience working in a busy legal environment Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach A confident and professional telephone manner The ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external professionals A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team The Role As part of the Child Care / Public Law team, you'll provide valuable support to fee earners and help ensure the smooth running of a varied caseload. Your responsibilities will include: Providing day-to-day support to solicitors and fee earners Managing correspondence, emails, and documentation Preparing and organising legal documents Opening and closing files Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records Managing diaries, appointments, and key deadlines Liaising with clients, courts, barristers, and other professionals Assisting with court preparation where required Why Join?
