About the role
Monday to Friday | 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking to take the next step in your career, or an established Quality Manager who enjoys being hands on and making a real difference?
MILO Recruit is working with a well established manufacturing business in Winsford that is looking for a Quality Manager to take ownership of its quality systems, maintain high standards and ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, improving processes and working closely with production and engineering teams.
You don't necessarily need experience within electronics manufacturing. We're equally interested in speaking with quality professionals from other manufacturing backgrounds who have strong quality systems knowledge and the confidence to take ownership of the function.
The Role
You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the company's Quality Management System, ensuring ISO 9000 documentation is accurate, up to date and compliant with relevant standards.
You'll act as the main point of contact for customer quality queries, investigating issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions to prevent problems recurring.
Working closely with engineering and production, you'll help develop and improve quality control processes, carry out internal audits and inspections, monitor quality performance and report findings to senior management.
You'll also support and guide the quality team, helping to maintain high standards and encourage a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with at least three years' experience in a quality role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
You'll have a good understanding of ISO 9000 quality standards, experience managing quality documentation and the ability to investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Strong communication skills are important, as you'll be dealing directly with customers as well as working closely with colleagues across the business.
You'll need to be organised, comfortable managing changing priorities and confident taking responsibility for quality issues through to resolution.
Experience within PCB or electronics manufacturing would be beneficial, but it isn't essential. Candidates from other manufacturing sectors are encouraged to apply.
A minimum qualification equivalent to A Level or NVQ Level 3 is required, with further engineering or quality qualifications welcomed.
What's on Offer
A salary of up to £45,000, working Monday to Friday with a choice of 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm.
You'll be joining an established manufacturing business where you'll have the opportunity to take genuine ownership of quality, introduce improvements and develop your career further.
If you're a Quality Engineer ready for more responsibility or an experienced Quality Manager looking for a new challenge, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
