Carpenter – Social Housing Location: Various contracts across North & South Essex Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are currently recruiting experienced Carpenters for a number of permanent opportunities across various social housing contracts throughout North and South Essex. The positions will involve a mixture of reactive maintenance and void works, carrying out carpentry repairs, maintenance and installations across social housing properties. Typical duties may include: 1st and 2nd fix carpentry Door, frame and ironmongery repairs/replacements Kitchen repairs and installations General carpentry repairs and maintenance Working within both occupied and void properties Completing works to a high standard within agreed timescales Requirements: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery Previous carpentry experience Social housing / maintenance experience preferred Full UK driving licence Appropriate vehicle for carrying out the role Own tools Good customer service and communication skills Reliable with a good standard of workmanship What's on offer: £40,000 – £45,000 salary, dependent on experience and contract Permanent employment Pension Long-term, consistent social housing work Opportunities for progression depending on the position and contract If you're an experienced Carpenter looking for a permanent position within social housing, with opportunities available across North and South Essex, please apply with your CV or get in touch for further information
