OT Cyber Consultant Rate: up to £368 per day - Umbrella only Duration: 5 months Location: 1 - 3 Strand, London, WC2N 5EH 50% onsite - 50% remote SC Cleared / sole UK national Role Description: The Operational Technology (OT) Consultant is responsible for advising clients on the design, implementation, optimization, and security of OT environments that support industrial operations and critical infrastructure. The role bridges the gap between Operational Technology and Information Technology (IT), helping organizations improve operational efficiency, resilience, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance across manufacturing, utilities, energy, transportation, and other industrial sectors. OT environments commonly include industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, PLCs, sensors, and industrial networks. Key Responsibilities: OT Strategy & Consulting Assess existing OT infrastructure, processes, and operational risks. Develop OT roadmaps aligned with business and operational objectives. Provide expert guidance on OT modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Support IT/OT convergence programs and operational excellence initiatives. Evaluate OT assets and identify opportunities for performance improvement. Advise on industrial networking and communications technologies. Identify vulnerabilities affecting industrial systems and critical infrastructure. Support incident response, recovery planning, and business continuity activities.
