Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor – Knowsley Location: Knowsley Pay Rate: £14.61 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 1:00pm Contract: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate Start Available We are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join a busy manufacturing operation in Knowsley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor/ area leader looking to secure a long-term position with the potential for a permanent contract. Duties and Responsibilities * Supervise and support a team of production operatives on shift * Ensure breaks are managed effectively and production schedules are maintained * Monitor product quality and ensure production standards are met * Complete and check production documentation accurately * Ensure daily production targets and KPIs are achieved * Communicate staffing requirements and production issues to management * Carry out product changeovers safely and efficiently * Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) * Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures * Report equipment faults and maintenance issues promptly * Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department * Assist in other production areas when required Candidate Requirements * Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing, production or food production environment * Strong communication and leadership skills * Good attention to detail and organisational skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Flexible approach and willingness to learn new processes * Ability to stand for long periods and work as part of a team * Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures Benefits * Temp to perm opportunity * Weekly pay * Immediate start available * Monday to Friday working pattern * Ongoing training and development If you have previous supervisory experience and are looking for your next opportunity within a successful manufacturing environment, we would like to hear from you
