own senior structural work on smaller residential schemes

You are a capable, experienced structural engineer who prefers smaller, more personal projects over huge schemes where you are one of many engineers on the job.

This is a London based structural engineering consultancy specialising in smaller scale residential and refurbishment projects, where senior engineers see a scheme through almost entirely themselves rather than handing pieces off to a large team. The smaller scale of each project means you genuinely see the impact of your own decisions from start to finish. If you have found large scale projects leave you feeling like a small cog in a big machine, this role is a genuine change of pace. You will lead your own projects end to end, work directly with homeowners, architects and contractors, and take real ownership of every stage from survey through to completion.

There is a genuine route towards principal level for engineers who want to keep progressing, with support for chartership if you are not already chartered.

Salary is between 56,000 and 74,000, depending on experience.
