This is an outstanding opportunity to work on complex, high value transactions with major clients across a wide range of sectors, within one of the UK's most respected corporate practices.The RoleAs a Senior Associate, you will:Lead on significant corporate transactions, including strategic advisory work, negotiation of key documents and full project managementWork collaboratively across a national team on M&A, private equity, venture capital and corporate advisory mattersAdvise a broad client base including listed/unlisted companies, PE/VC backed businesses, mid market investors, management teams and founder shareholdersSupport in person collaboration to enhance training, development and client deliveryRepresent the team at networking and business development events regionally and nationallyContribute to the team's business development strategy and profile raising initiativesSupervise and mentor Paralegals, Trainees and AssociatesCandidate RequirementsYou will be:A qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE, able to lead matters with limited supervisionExperienced in mid market M&A, private equity and venture capital transactionsA confident communicator with strong relationship building skillsAble to demonstrate a track record in business development and client retentionCommercially minded with the ability to understand client objectivesA collaborative team player with an interest in developing junior colleaguesThe TeamThe Corporate team is one of the South West's largest and most experienced, advising on high value, market leading transactions.
