Are you an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician seeking a challenging role within a reputable dealership in Southport? Our client is currently looking to recruit a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Technician to join their dynamic team. Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a variety of vehicles, including electric models, with full training provided
Carry out MOT tests in compliance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations
Identify faults accurately using diagnostic equipment and implement effective repairs
Interpret technical information and carry out repairs efficiently and accurately
Conduct road tests to diagnose issues and validate repairs
Diagnostic Technicians fit accessories and perform vehicle inspections on both new and used vehicles
Work independently within a busy, fast-paced environment to deliver first-time fixes
Adhere to health and safety, warranty, and company procedures
Clearly communicate technical findings and maintain high standards of workmanshipRequirements of a Diagnostic Technician:
Full UK driving licence
Minimum of four years’ experience working within a workshop environment
Knowledge of routine servicing and mechanical repairs
Strong diagnostic skills, with a Level 3 Technician qualification
MOT accreditation or willingness to achieve it
Honest, with high integrity and excellent team collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work within structured processes
