Forklift Counterbalance Driver

Impact Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver on a Contract basis for one of our clients in Northampton. In this role you will be working as a stock controller to support a small team with movement of goods for a production environment.

Role: Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm

Pay Rate: £26,300 annually

Contract: 12 month contract with a possible permanent extension

This is a great opportunity working for one of our clients who provide job security and development opportunities. You will play a crucial part to the business with ensuring all materials are stored and moved correctly. You will be working in a small team to efficiently manage all inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Driving a Counterbalance forklift
• Taking responsibility for stock control
• Maintain accurate stock levels
• Manage goods in processes
• Quality checking deliveries
• Storing materials accurately
• Work in a small team

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Hold a Counterbalance Forklift certificate

• Be physically fit and happy to do physical work
• Have previous stock control experience
• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Be able to use computers
