We are seeking an inspiring and innovative Course Leader / Teacher of Accounting to join our highly successful School of Business and Digital Technologies.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting professional and educator who is passionate about transforming lives through education and committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
About the Role:
As Course Leader / Teacher of Accounting, you will play a key role in ensuring learners achieve their full potential through engaging, high-quality teaching and effective course leadership. You will:
* Deliver outstanding Accounting teaching across relevant programmes.
* Develop innovative and engaging learning resources.
* Monitor learner progress and provide timely interventions to maximise achievement.
* Support learners through excellent pastoral care and guidance.
* Lead course-level planning and curriculum development.
* Coordinate standardisation and quality assurance activities.
* Build strong relationships with employers, universities and other external stakeholders.
* Lead student recruitment, marketing and stakeholder engagement activities.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and curriculum innovation across the department.
We are looking for a candidate who has:
Essential
* Degree in Accounting or a relevant subject area.
* Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent), or willingness to achieve one.
* Successful teaching experience within a relevant subject area.
* Strong IT and digital skills.
* A learner-centred approach to teaching and learning.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A genuine passion for education and student success.
Desirable
* Recent industry experience or CPD within Accounting or Finance.
* Experience leading curriculum delivery, standardisation or course management activities.
