You will be embedded within a manufacturing team at a client site in Derby, playing a key role in improving production processes, supporting operations, and driving efficiency across manufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities Analyse existing manufacturing processes and develop improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs Provide hands-on technical support to resolve production issues Develop and implement quality control procedures to meet industry and customer standards Design and introduce new tools, equipment, and production methods Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new manufacturing processes Monitor production performance data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Ensure all activities comply with relevant industry and safety regulations What's on Offer Opportunity to work on high-profile, technically challenging projects Clear career development pathways across multiple disciplines Exposure to global projects and collaborative environments Comprehensive wellbeing support, including employee assistance programmes Additional benefits such as retail discounts, cycle-to-work scheme, and health-related perks About You Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role, ideally within a highly regulated industry such as nuclear or defence Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards (nuclear experience desirable) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in process design and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g.
