Credit Controller

Credit Controller | Permanent | Salary up to £30,000 Astute Recruitment are supporting our Mansfield-based client with the recruitment of an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy and fast-paced finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fully office-based role offering a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience, plus the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a lively environment, thrives under pressure and is confident managing high-volume credit control duties from start to finish. Key Duties: * Managing the full credit control process for a high-volume customer ledger * Chasing overdue payments via phone and email * Building and maintaining strong customer relationships * Resolving invoice and account queries efficiently * Allocating customer payments and reconciling accounts * Producing aged debtor reports * Monitoring debtor days and reducing outstanding debt * Escalating problematic accounts where necessary * Supporting month-end processes and reporting * Working closely with internal departments to resolve payment issues * Maintaining accurate customer and account records What We Are Looking For: * Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Credit Control role * Confident managing a busy and high-volume ledger * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively * Proactive and resilient approach * Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems * Strong team player with a positive attitude Other roles you may have applied for: Credit Controller, Senior Credit Controller, Accounts Receivable, AR Clerk, Collections Advisor, Sales Ledger Clerk, Collections Specialist
