Learning Support Assistant - Brighton

At Engage, we know that a school runs on quality support staff. We’ve spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in Brighton, and we’re now looking to recruit for one of our Outstanding SEND schools.

The right candidate will need to provide educational and personal support to children with a diagnosis of Autism, usually high functioning Autism or Asperger’s syndrome.

They are looking for proactive and passionate LSA’s who are keen to interact with students. This role would be suitable for trainees and Graduates, who are eager to pursue a career within Special Education. Psychology Graduates are always really highly looked upon for this role, so anyone with a psychology degree or background are strongly encouraged to apply!

It is not essential to have school based experience, as training can be provided. However, having some experience with Autism (either personally or professionally) would be preferable!

We would also encourage any experienced LSA’s to apply as we do have more experienced positions and salaries available as well.
