Project Manager – Commercial Office Fit-Out

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take overall responsibility for the successful management and control of commercial office fit-out projects across Oxford & Thames Valley region.

This is a project and client-facing position, with a strong focus on programme control, stakeholder management, reporting and ensuring projects are delivered against agreed objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for managing commercial office fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Develop, manage and control project programmes.
Lead client, consultant and stakeholder meetings.
Coordinate the wider project team and ensure actions are driven through to completion.
Monitor project progress, costs, risks and key deliverables.
Manage project reporting and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
Coordinate with the Construction Manager and site team to ensure the programme is being delivered.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously at different stages of the project lifecycle.
Full commercial responsibility, manage changes, variations and project issues.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality.
Drive successful completion, handover and close-out.Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering commercial office fit-out projects.
Strong CAT A / CAT B experience.
Small works project delivery experience
Excellent programme and project control skills.
Strong client and stakeholder management experience.
Confident running project meetings and presenting project updates.
Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts and commercial management.
Relevant construction qualification desirable
