Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Middlesbrough Salary: £42,(Apply online only) - £50,(Apply online only) (DOE) Shift: 4 on 3 off (Sunday cover required) | Flexible hours between 06:00 - 19:00 Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer A growing FMCG manufacturer in Middlesbrough is looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team. Based at a modern, high-volume production facility, you'll provide hands-on engineering support across a range of semi-automated machinery, keeping production running efficiently and minimising downtime. Sector – FMCG Manufacturing Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Multi-Skilled Maintenance experience. Engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent). Previous manufacturing maintenance experience. Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge (Inputs/Outputs). Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical fault finding (3-phase, motors, sensors and inverters). Motor wiring and testing. Mechanical maintenance including bearings, belts, chains and pneumatics. Reactive breakdown maintenance. Small machinery installations and modifications. Production machinery maintenance. Continuous Improvement mindset. Good communication and Health & Safety awareness. Desirable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical bias. Food or FMCG manufacturing experience. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
