Senior Accountant

What’s on offer Starting salary up to £60,000 per annum Company car or car allowance Profit share bonus scheme Flexible working hours and one day working from home each week Complimentary lunch when in office four days a week Opportunities for progression and ongoing professional development Private medical insurance following a qualifying period Team events and reward lunches A supportive and collaborative working culture Modern Coventry office with on-site parking Your role Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts Overseeing the preparation of self-assessment, corporation tax and partnership tax returns Supporting clients with tax planning, including dividend and interest planning calculations Providing financial advice and identifying opportunities to support clients’ business objectives Guiding junior colleagues and developing their technical knowledge What you’ll bring A qualified accountant, ACCA or ACA / ICAEW or equivalent, although QBE’s with prior experience in an accountancy firm will also be considered Technically strong, constantly up to date with adaptations in compliance standards Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice / firm as a Financial Accountant, Client Manager, Practice Accountant, Senior Accountant or similar IT skills including Excel and any accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxCalc etc).
