Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Coordinator Location: Cardiff Salary: DOE Company: A well-established leading signage and display company. The Role: We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative / Coordinator to join our client’s busy production and logistics team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, coordinating stock movements, deliveries and dispatches while maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse or logistics experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the warehouse. * Manage goods-in, goods-out, picking, packing and dispatch operations. * Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes. * Ensure stock is stored safely, correctly and efficiently. * Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate stock discrepancies. * Coordinate deliveries and collections with drivers, couriers and suppliers. * Prepare shipping and warehouse documentation. * Carry out regular stock checks and assist with stocktakes. * Monitor warehouse stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies. * Communicate with internal departments to ensure orders are processed on time. * Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organised and maintained to a high standard. * Follow all company health and safety procedures. * Identify and support improvements to warehouse processes and efficiency. Requirements * Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or stock-control role. * Strong organisational and time-management skills. * Excellent attention to detail. * Good communication skills and a professional approach. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. * Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office. * Experience using warehouse management or stock-control systems is desirable. * Forklift licence is desirable but not essential. * A flexible, hands-on approach to work. * Full driving licence Apply: Please email your full CV details to us.
