Transport Administrator 12-Month Temp Maternity Cover £14.00 p/h Wellingborough -Full Time Monday - Friday 37.5 hrs -Office based role - September start Are you an organised administrator with experience in transport, logistics or supply chain operations? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a global manufacturing business in Wellingborough, providing maternity cover within a busy transport team. This role offers the chance to coordinate UK and international shipments, work with freight providers and customs agents, and play a key role in ensuring products reach customers efficiently and on time. Key Responsibilities Coordinate UK, European and worldwide shipments Arrange road, air and sea freight transportation Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers Organise collections from suppliers and inbound deliveries Monitor shipments and resolve transport issues Maintain accurate transport documentation Provide shipment updates to customers and internal teams Support continuous improvement initiatives within the transport function Essential: Strong administration and organisational skills Excellent communication skills Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks A proactive approach to problem solvingDesirable: Experience within transport, logistics, warehouse or supply chain environments Knowledge of freight forwarding and transportation providers Understanding of customs procedures and international shipping Experience using SAP or warehouse management systems What's on Offer? 12-month maternity cover contract Global industry-leading employer Varied and fast-paced role Full training and handover period with the current post holder September start available If you're a highly organised administrator looking for an immediate start in the logistics and transport world , we would love to hear from you.
