Contracts Manager

RCM Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager to join a Flooring Contractor in the East Midlands They specialise in supplying and installing a wide range of commercial flooring solutions across the Midlands and surrounding areas, working with house builders, commercial contractors and developers on projects of all sizes. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for managing flooring projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards. Essential Experience & Knowledge Applicants must have strong knowledge and experience in all aspects of commercial flooring, including: * Carpet * Vinyl * Cap & Cove * Carpet Tiles * Wood Flooring * Laminate Flooring * Floor Preparation / Screeding Responsibilities * Managing multiple flooring projects simultaneously * Organising labour, materials and site programmes * Liaising with clients, site managers and suppliers * Carrying out site visits and quality inspections * Ensuring health & safety compliance * Managing project costs and variations * Resolving on-site issues efficiently and professionally Requirements * Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within the flooring industry * Strong organisational and communication skills * Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively * Full UK driving licence * Good understanding of commercial flooring installation processes and standards * Your own sub-contractor fitter contacts. * CSCS Card * NVQ or professional qualification What they offer * Competitive salary (dependent on experience) * Company vehicle * Mobile phone and laptop * Opportunity to join a fast-growing and ambitious business * Supportive working environment with long-term career progression
