Further information about Lear is available at lear.com or on Twitter @LearCorporation.Position overview:The AME IDEA Manager – Execution supports the delivery of regional automation projects across EU & Africa JIT, Trim, and Structures plants, ensuring execution aligns with Lear’s AME Roadmap. Reporting to the Senior AME Manager, the role provides SME expertise, leads project execution planning, manages risks, budgets, suppliers, and timelines, and ensures automation solutions are implemented to Lear standards with minimal operational disruption.Main Missions:Lead cross functional team consisting of plant, central functions, supplier representatives and program manage IDEA projects in assigned plantsEnsure all actions linked with successful implementation of IDEA projects are on track and any delays are understood and communicated to AME, Plant IE manager and plant managerWorks in close collaboration with Leadership teams from Central AME, Operations and Program ManagementCooperation with Lear internal integrator WIP & CoE Equipment team on definition of standards, improvements and optimizations of equipment and tools as lead SME for Lear Bond technologyIdentify potential automated solutions which are suitable for JIT environment, Develops robust business cases from a technical / cost perspective prior to presentation to Senior Management Lessons Learned / Best practices sharing with AME team to ensure knowledge and experience is transferred to all plants within the groupCoaches regional team members and shares knowledge of technology domains within area of expertiseEnsures compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and local policies and proceduresStrives to be at the forefront of technological advancements within their domainParticipates in discussions with key stakeholders in relation to project feasibility, strategic implementation planning, cost and timing of AME projectsSupport for Operations by reporting regarding status of AME tasks & standards, IDEA project status, opened points and potential risksSupervision over AME activities & IDEA projects in assigned plantsReporting directly to Senior AME manager, dotted line to responsible plant manager / IE managerKey Skills and Qualifications:Required Qualifications / Skills :Program management skills and experience as essential requirementExperience in a Manufacturing Engineering roleExpert knowledge in at least one of the following fields : welding, maintenance, robotics, automation, EOL systems, project managementExperience in supporting execution of multiple advanced manufacturing projects into operational environmentStrong analytical skills / problem solving skills with accuracy and attention to detailDemonstrated experience of critically assessing business case proposals linked to ROIDemonstrates clear understanding of ergonomic requirements with ability to provide solutions to problemsShowcases expert understanding of LEAR associated AME Controls / IT systemsExpert level of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.Willingness and flexibility to travel within the role.Ensures a safe working environment, follow, support, and maintain working practices, comply with all relevant HSE legislation and local policies and procedures.Advantageous Qualifications / Work Experience: Experience of working in the deployment of AME projects across multiple countries / facilitiesUnderstanding of CE certification requirements.Active usage of AI solution in professional environmentUniversity Degree ascertained in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or comparable discipline5+ years’ work experience in a related field or positionFluency in English language both written and verbal.Why LearWe offer a fantastic place to work that embraces diversity, opportunities for growth and the chance to be part of a company that puts its people first.What We OfferCompetitive Salary,Access to Learning and development opportunities.Opportunities to give back to the community.Meaningful work that makes a difference in the worldLear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse workplace.Applicants must submit their resumes for consideration using our applicant tracking system.
