We are looking to expand our Veterinary Nurse team at our hospital on the edge of the New Forest National Park, Hampshire. At CVS, caring is what we do. Life at Seadown We are an RCVS accredited Small Animal Hospital and Equine Clinic, with a large experienced and friendly team. Our commitment to our team and their career development means that further study is actively supported, encouraged and funded. The practice provides small animal referral services in ophthalmology ad orthopaedics and we are well equipped with DR x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasounds, therapeutic later, ventilator endoscopic, and laparoscopic facilities along with multi-parameter monitors and an in-house laboratory. The practice has its own out of hours service providing 24/7 emergency veterinary care for all its own clients. We welcome applications from Registered Veterinary Nurses of all experience levels and are happy to support newly qualified RVNs as they develop their skills and confidence. Ideally, this is a full time position, but we can also accommodate part time hours for the right candidate. Flexibility is important to us, and we're open to discussing working patterns that suit you, whether that's longer days across a 4 day week or shorter working days. The role includes a minimum of 13 night shifts per year, with additional payment provided, and participation in a 1 in 7 full weekend rota, with time off in lieu given in return. Whatever your preferred working arrangement, we'd love to hear what works best for you. We are passionate about the team perusing areas of interest, whether that be ECC, theatre, running nurse clinics, schedule 3 procedures, or inpatient care. You will work alongside an experienced nursing team, supportive reception colleagues, and a dedicated team of long-standing vets who create a positive, collaborative culture where everyone can thrive.
