Mechanical Estimator

Job Title: Mechanical Estimator Location: Epsom Salary: £80,000 per annum The Role: * Reporting to the Senior Estimator. * Preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical building services projects. * Producing enquiries for equipment and specialist subcontract packages. * Reviewing drawings, specifications and supplier quotations. * Identifying value engineering opportunities and project risks. * Attending pre, mid and post-tender meetings. * Liaising with clients, consultants and the supply chain to produce competitive bids. * Attending site surveys and supporting tender presentations where required. * Following up tenders and attending project handover meetings once secured. The Company: * Established Mechanical Building Services Contractor. * Over 20 years' experience delivering MEP projects. * Works across the commercial, healthcare and education sectors. * Strong reputation for quality and repeat business. * Stable pipeline of projects and genuine career progression opportunities. The Ideal Candidate: * 5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Estimator. * Previous experience working for a Mechanical or M&E subcontractor. * Strong understanding of mechanical building services. * Experience estimating commercial projects. * Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * Able to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.
