About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and reputable glass and glazing company as a Project Administrator. We are looking for an organised, customer-focused individual to support the day-to-day administration of customer projects, ensuring a smooth process from initial enquiry through to completion.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll be the key link between customers, suppliers, and the internal team, providing excellent service and ensuring projects run efficiently.
Glass and glazing knowledge is essential for this role
Key Responsibilities
* Answer customer enquiries via telephone and welcome walk-in customers.
* Gather customer requirements and prepare accurate quotations.
* Process customer orders and ensure all project information is recorded correctly.
* Purchase stock and liaise with suppliers to support project requirements.
* Monitor the progress of customer orders and maintain accurate records.
* Keep customers informed throughout the order process, providing regular updates.
* Notify customers when orders are ready for collection or delivery.
* Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time.
* Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of multiple projects.
* Deliver a high standard of customer service while managing enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
What We're Looking For
* Previous administration or project administration experience is desirable.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and office-based systems.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A full UK driving licence is essential.
