We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative with forklift driving skills to join our client's team in Corby. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing materials/stock, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the facility. Duties
Operate forklift and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods.
Manage stock using the warehouse management system, ensuring accurate recording of inventory movements.
Handle materials carefully, adhering to safety protocols during loading and unloading processes.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including checking deliveries against purchase orders.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify mechanical issues and report faults promptly.
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Support the team with general warehouse duties, including stock organisation and data entry.
Skills
Proven experience in warehouse management systems and materials handling procedures.
Valid forklift license with demonstrated experience operating various types of forklifts. (Flexi Bendi)
Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes and inventory control.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock management.
Basic mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and recording data accurately.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in a physically demanding environment.
