Gate & Barrier Engineer

Our client is looking for experienced and driver Gate & Barrier Engineers to join its busy team in the Southeast. The role will focus on: Commercial automatic gates, barriers, access control systems, and associated infrastructure. Role Specification, Experience with some or all required, depending on level: - Installation of automatic gates and barriers. - Retrofit automation onto existing gates. - Large plug-and-play commercial installations. - Fault finding and reactive call-outs. - Planned preventative maintenance. - Civils works including excavation, ducting, concrete bases and service installation. - Automation equipment installation. - Access control systems when required. - Commissioning, testing and handover. - Reading technical drawings and site surveys. Requirements - combinations of the below will be considered: - CSCS Relevant to level - Gate Safe Certified. - DHF Automated Gate Training. - HSG47 (Avoiding Danger from Underground Services). Also Desirable: - IPAF - First Aid - ECS/Access Control qualifications. - SSSTS The ideal applicants will be self-sufficient, whilst also working well in a team. You will have good industry/sector relevant experience across installation, fault finding and comissioning.
