️ Procurement & Commercial Manager 📍 Slough / Heathrow | Full-time | Permanent 🚀 The Role We’re hiring a Procurement & Commercial Manager to lead purchasing, supply chain and commercial activity within an aerospace engineering environment. This is a hands-on leadership role combining supplier management, operational procurement, and team oversight, supporting both internal operations and key customer accounts. 🔧 Key Responsibilities * Lead procurement strategy across inventory and non-stock spend * Manage supplier relationships, negotiations and performance * Ensure material availability to meet operational and delivery targets * Monitor purchasing KPIs and maintain accurate ERP/MRP data * Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives * Oversee component sourcing and outsourced repair management * Support pricing, quoting and contract delivery requirements * Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements * Work with engineering and commercial teams on costing and margin * Provide insight into supplier performance and market trends * Lead and develop a small procurement/commercial team * Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers ✅ About You * Experience in procurement or supply chain within engineering/manufacturing * Strong negotiation and supplier management skills * Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory control * Previous leadership or supervisory experience * Good commercial awareness and communication skills ➕ Desirable * Aerospace, aviation or MRO background * CIPS qualification (or working towards) * Experience in a regulated industry 🎯 Additional Info * Office-based role near Heathrow * Occasional travel required * Must be eligible for security clearance 💡 Why Apply? * Opportunity to lead procurement in a specialised aerospace environment * Combination of operational, strategic and commercial responsibility * Exposure to major industry customers and suppliers
