The team is part of a wider real estate practice that brings together specialists in grant funding, planning, compulsory purchase, subsidy control, commercial, and construction law to provide a full-service offering.This group focuses on property-related legal matters across the energy, utilities, and infrastructure sectors, advising on land rights, access, and assembly for critical projects such as grid upgrades and pipeline installations. The work is technically demanding, collaborative, and sits at the intersection of real estate, infrastructure, and public sector delivery.The RoleAs a Senior Associate, you will take a lead role on complex projects, managing matters with significant autonomy and acting as a key point of contact for major energy and utility clients. You will draft, review, and negotiate property agreements including leases, easements, wayleaves, licences, and land acquisition documents. You will advise on land rights, title issues, and land access strategies, and lead on land assembly for utility projects.You will also supervise and mentor junior team members, contribute to legal project management, and play an active role in business development and client relationship management.
