Role Overview GAC Education, a specialist education recruiter, is appointing a SEMH Teaching Assistant in Warrington. You will work with a dedicated consultant and a setting that needs reliable, supportive, and resilient cover. Key Responsibilities * Support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs on a 1:1 and small group basis * Utilise de-escalation techniques and encourage emotional regulation in the classroom * Follow the school’s behaviour, safeguarding, and pastoral expectations * Feedback to the class teacher, SENCO, or cover lead on pupil progress and wellbeing Requirements * Right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS with Children’s Barred List (or willingness to complete one) * Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or complex behavioural needs * Patient, resilient, empathetic, and classroom-ready Pay & Benefits * £85.00 to £115.00 per day * Weekly PAYE pay * Dedicated GAC Education consultant * Loyalty and rate protection on ongoing bookings where agreed How to Apply Apply now through GAC Education for this SEMH Teaching Assistant role in Warrington.
