Are you passionate about supporting children and young people who face social, emotional and behavioural challenges? Are you looking for a rewarding full-time role where you can make a genuine difference?
We are currently recruiting Behaviour Mentors to work within specialist provisions across the Blackburn area. You will be supporting both primary and secondary-aged students, helping them to manage their emotions and behaviour, overcome barriers to learning and engage positively in education.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with behavioural, social and emotional needs.
• Support primary and secondary-aged students within specialist provisions.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and act as a positive role model.
• Help pupils develop strategies to regulate their emotions and manage their behaviour.
• Support students during challenging situations using appropriate behaviour management techniques.
• Encourage positive engagement, attendance and participation in learning.
