CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator

Job Description

Proactive Wolverhampton are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator specialising in milling machines for an opportunity based in Willenhall.

The successful candidate will have experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls. We are looking for someone confident in programming machines, carrying out setups and operating machinery efficiently to meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls.

*

Creating, editing and amending CNC programmes as required.

*

Changing tooling and carrying out machine setups.

*

Adjusting tooling and programmes to ensure accuracy and product quality.

*

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

*

Ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently met.

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator.

*

Experience working with CNC milling machines.

*

Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.

*

Ability to programme, set and operate machines independently.

*

Experience with tooling changes and machine setups.

*

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

*

A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

*

£19+ per hour, depending on experience.

*

Day shifts with start times between 7am and 8am.

*

Location in Willenhall, WV13.

*

Temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential for a permanent position.
