Civil Engineer with Drainage Location: Lincoln Full-Time / Onsite An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong drainage design experience to join its growing infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential development projects, supporting schemes from initial planning through to detailed design and delivery. We are seeking a Civil Engineer with proven experience in drainage design to join a growing Civil Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and delivery of drainage solutions for a variety of residential and commercial development projects, supporting schemes from initial planning through to detailed design and construction. The role requires a technically competent engineer with experience in drainage modelling, SuDS design, flood risk assessments, and the preparation of technical documentation. Design surface water and foul water drainage systems for residential and commercial developments. Prepare drainage strategies to support planning applications and detailed design submissions. Undertake hydraulic modelling and drainage network analysis. Develop Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) solutions in accordance with local and national guidance. Assist in the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs). Liaise with Local Authorities, Lead Local Flood Authorities, Water Authorities, and other stakeholders. Coordinate with highways, structural, environmental, and infrastructure teams. Support project delivery from concept design through to construction stages. Attend client meetings and provide technical support throughout project lifecycles.
