Planning Manager – Water Location: London (Flexible Hybrid)We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join a leading international provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, specialising in innovative technologies and the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of project activities across multiple sites and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safe working practices through the implementation and execution of robust planning processes.Conduct thorough risk assessments for all planned activities and establish effective mitigation measures to minimise potential disruptions.Maintain a dependable and structured planning process that supports a strong “Right First Time” culture.Ensure all personnel, materials, equipment, and documentation required on site are delivered as planned and meet expected quality standards.Coordinate project delivery programmes with clients, suppliers, and Project Engineers/Managers for assigned projects.Proactively communicate with all stakeholders involved in project schedules, ensuring clarity around roles, responsibilities, and project requirements.Monitor and manage planning activities to ensure projects are delivered according to agreed timelines and expectations.Identify, adopt, and implement best practices to support continuous improvement and enhance overall planning performance.ExperienceProven experience in successfully managing complex resource planning activities.Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6, with particular expertise in resource scheduling.Demonstrated success in improving business performance through effective resource planning and coordination.A collaborative mindset with an appreciation for being a valued member of a supportive and high-performing team.Qualifications and SkillsExperience and/or qualifications related to resource planning and associated planning software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Positive, proactive, and motivating attitude.Strong personal accountability and exceptionally high professional standards.Highly motivated with a commitment to achieving results.Honest, dependable, and transparent in all interactions.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive organisation where you can make a real impact on project delivery and operational success.
