3rd Line Citrix Engineer +9 months + +SC cleared - current active clearance is essential for this role +Sole British nationals only due to the nature of the project +Inside IR35 +£290 - £310 a day We are seeking an experienced Third Line Citrix SME to join an on-site support team in Preston. You will act as the technical authority for Citrix infrastructure, providing expert-level support, complex troubleshooting and technical assurance across secure enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Provide 3rd Line support for complex Citrix incidents and problems. Act as the SME for Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler ADC and WEM. Lead technical investigations, troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Manage and optimise Citrix policies, profiles and end-user experience. Support patching, upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvements. Work closely with architecture, engineering and cross-functional teams. Proactively identify and resolve defects and recurring issues. Maintain strong customer service and operate in line with ITIL and service management processes. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in a Third Line / Senior Infrastructure Support role. Strong hands-on experience with: Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) Citrix Cloud NetScaler ADC Citrix WEM Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy FSLogix Experience supporting VMware, Hyper-V and/or XenServer environments. Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11. Experience with ITIL and enterprise support models. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
