The South America Finance department manages the financial integrity of our expanding operations across the region. This team oversees the production of management and statutory accounts, ensuring strict adherence to local regulatory frameworks and complex tax landscapes. In this role, you will provide vital support to the Senior Finance Manager on the Management and Statutory Accounts function, specifically regarding our Brazilian operations and local ledgers.Working closely with the Brazilian Senior Accountant, this role involves producing and analysing accounts. It requires a keen eye for detail to navigate the country's intricate tax environment and establish robust documentation processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to sharpen technical skills while contributing to the success of a rapidly growing business. This role is eligible for inclusion in our hybrid work from home policy.

Job requirements

Qualifications AAT qualification or CIMA/ACCA part-qualification Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals Keen eye for detail to identify anomalies Ability to collaborate with advisors and internal stakeholders Experience with complex tax regulations Additional information Prepare monthly management accounts for Brazilian entities Perform balance sheet reconciliations and review accounting entries Compile accounts for the audit process Calculate and review period end accruals and pre-payments Maintain and develop Brazil-specific accounting and tax knowledge Ensure financial records are filed in line with standards and legislation
