PPT Driver

Great opportunity as a PPT Drivers for one of the UK's largest citrus & grape specialists. Staffline is seeking Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) Drivers to join their team in Alconbury, Cambridgeshire. The rate of pay is: - Dayshift rate £13.40 per hour - Overtime is paid £16.75 per hour after 48 hours - Nightshift rate £16.10 per hour - Overtime is paid £20.13 per hour after 48 hours The hours of work are: - Days - 07:00-19:00 - 4 on 4 off - Nights - 19:00-07:00 - 4 on 4 off Your Time at Work As a PPT Driver, your duties include: - Helping unload and load lorries - Bringing the stock to the production lines - Moving completed stock from production lines to the despatch area Our Perfect Worker Our ideal PPT Driver will hold a valid PPT license and be confident in operating PPT trucks in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to read and communicate in English and have basic maths ability as you will need to pass an assessment during registration. The successful candidate must be comfortable working on their feet throughout their shift and possess a good level of physical fitness, as the role may require heavy lifting of up to 20KG. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
