As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs. Supporting pupils with communication, sensory, physical and learning needs. Assisting pupils to access classroom activities and educational programmes. Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour. Providing personal care where required. Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Working closely with teachers, therapists and wider support staff. Encouraging pupils to develop independence and confidence.This Complex Needs Teaching Assistant role would suit someone with experience in education, care, support work or a similar setting. Experience supporting pupils with PMLD, autism, physical disabilities or complex medical needs would be highly desirable.
