Multiskilled Maintenance EngineerLocation: Kingston upon ThamesSalary: £37,080 - £38,522 per annum + circa £1,200 annual on-call allowanceContract: Full Time, PermanentBenefits28 days annual leave plus bank holidaysEmployer pension contribution of up to 6%Life assuranceTraining and development opportunitiesUniform and tools providedStable, long-term employmentThe RoleWe are seeking a skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy facilities maintenance team supporting a large and diverse estate.This is a varied, hands-on role involving both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a range of building services. You'll help ensure buildings and facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairsDiagnose faults and undertake repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, with a focus on your core tradeSupport colleagues across multiple disciplines to maintain service continuityUse CAFM systems to manage and record maintenance activitiesLiaise with contractors and site stakeholdersEnsure all work is completed in line with health and safety and compliance requirementsParticipate in the on-call rotaEssential RequirementsFull UK driving licenceRecognised trade qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent) in Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or a related disciplinePrevious experience in building maintenance, facilities management or building servicesStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsGood understanding of health and safety legislationStrong communication and teamwork skillsDesirableExperience working within a large commercial, educational, healthcare or public-sector environmentKnowledge of CAFM systems and Building Management Systems (BMS)Multi-skilled experience across additional tradesExperience supervising contractors or supporting small projectsWhat's on Offer?This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organisation offering a varied workload, ongoing training and development, and the chance to broaden your skills within a supportive team environment.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
