As Legal Counsel, you will sit within the Global Markets Legal team and act as a trusted advisor to front-office Sales & Trading stakeholders across EMEA.

Operating at the forefront of capital markets and investment banking, they provide sophisticated solutions across rates, credit, derivatives and financing products. Due to ongoing growth and increased demand within the legal function, they are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support their Sales & Trading business.

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

• Advising Sales & Trading desks on a broad range of legal, regulatory and transactional matters.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating trading, clearing, electronic trading platform, FX and capital markets documentation.
• Providing pragmatic and commercially-focused legal advice relating to rates, credit, derivatives and financing products.
• Advising on key regulatory frameworks including MiFID II, MAR and EMIR.
• Supporting new product launches, strategic business initiatives and cross-border trading activity.
• Identifying, assessing and mitigating legal, regulatory and reputational risks.
