What You'll Be Doing In this varied and rewarding position, you will: * Deliver complex, person-centred assessments (Care Act, S117, Mental Capacity) * Create outcome-focused support plans that promote independence * Support carers through challenging and sensitive situations * Manage risk effectively using advanced assessment skills * Lead and chair Best Interest meetings * Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries and act on concerns * Maintain accurate, high-quality records * Collaborate with multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes * Provide guidance and support to colleagues within the team What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from Social Workers who are: * Qualified (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and registered with Social Work England * Experienced in Care Act and Mental Capacity assessments * Confident in strengths-based practice and relevant legislation * Resilient, organised, and able to manage a busy workload * Passionate about improving the lives of people with mental health needs Mental health experience is desirable, but not essential-we welcome candidates with strong core skills and a genuine desire to develop in this area.
