MMA Welder MIG Welder TXM Recruit are looking for a Welder on a Temporary to permanent basis to work for an engineering company in Doncaster then move to Burton. The standard rate for this role is £25.50ph Umb or £18.79 PAYE (inside IR35) with overtime enhancements after 37 hrs.  The role is expected to be Monday to Friday days, 37 hours per week with occasional overtime. This will be approx 3-5 months training at Doncaster with Mileage paid for travel to this depot (30p per mile) and 2 hours additional travel time paid , the role will then move to a new facility being built in Barton under Needwood (Burton upon Trent, DE13 area) where there will be the opportunity to go permanent after a short while. Position Summary: To carry out Welding work on Rolling Stock Wheelsets or Bogies and related components (Stick mainly, TIG/Mig on occasions) Candidates must have experience in MMA (Stick) welding and exposure to Mig/Tig would be an advantage Candidates must also be able to pass a Medical, Drug & Alcohol screening.
