An established accountancy practice in Kirk Hammerton is looking to recruit a Tax Assistant to join its team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous accountancy practice experience in a tax assistant role who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive practice environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and submitting personal tax returns for clients.

Corresponding with clients, HMRC and third parties.

Liaising with clients by telephone, email, post and occasionally in person.

Handling administrative matters relating to tax returns.

Supporting the Tax Senior with additional duties as required.

About You:

Previous experience working in an accountancy practice in a tax assistant role is essential.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.

A professional and client-focused approach.
