About the role

Taylor Root is delighted to be working with a leading international law firm seeking a talented Corporate Real Estate Associate to join its market-leading real assets and private capital practice in London.


This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly regarded team that advises a broad range of institutional investors, private equity sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and global asset managers on complex UK and cross-border real estate transactions. The team is involved in some of the market's most significant deals across sectors including logistics, data centres, life sciences, student accommodation, residential, offices, hospitality and digital infrastructure.


The role will involve:

  • Advising on high-value real estate M&A transactions, acquisitions and disposals.
  • Structuring and negotiating joint ventures, co-investments and strategic partnerships.
  • Supporting clients through all stages of the investment lifecycle.
  • Advising on development projects, platform investments and asset management initiatives.
  • Working on complex cross-border transactions involving multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborating closely with private capital, finance, tax and regulatory specialists across the firm.


Candidate requirements:

  • England & Wales qualified solicitor with 1-5 years' PQE gained at a leading private practice firm.
  • Strong experience in corporate real estate, private equity real estate or real assets transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and project management skills.
  • Commercially minded with strong client relationship capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and international environment.
